Earthquake. Become aftershocks.
From April 2015 to June 2015 we were able to supply more than 250 houses and thus around 1,500 people in the regions of Dolakha, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu / Patan with relief supplies. We brought building materials (tarpaulins, corrugated iron, bamboo, tools, nails etc.) for the construction of 27 emergency shelters, helped with the construction ourselves and provided more than 1,500 people with the most important medicines, blankets, mosquito nets and the most essential food.
Special individual fates: We were able to organize a new wheelchair for a young, severely disabled girl in a very short time. Her old wheelchair was shared with buried under the rubble of the collapsed house in the family's meager possessions.
In a very short time we were able to provide a new 1,000 liter water tank including a solid iron frame for an orphanage with children infected with HIV / AIDS. Thus the water supply for the 29 children was ensured again.
Clean drinking water: During and after the great earthquakes it was almost impossible for the people in Kathmandu and the surrounding area to get clean drinking water. With enormous expenditure of time and persistence, we managed to organize hundreds of bottles of water disinfectants. One bottle of this agent is enough to meet the drinking water needs of a family for 1 to 2 months (1 x 60 ml bottle = 400 liters of drinking water).
